Mary Martha McCollough, known as “Mary,” “Mary Martha,” and as “Mimi,” peacefully entered her new life with her beloved Saviour on January 21, 2021. Mary was born in Weirton, WV, and raised in Steubenville, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph “Mac” W. McCollough and Helen E. Grubbs, her brother Rev. R. Wayne McCollough, and step-mother Major Esther McCollough.
She was an intelligent, beautiful, fun-loving and deeply devoted mother, friend and neighbor. She nurtured people, animals, flowers and trees. She loved her Judeo-Christian faith; all bodies of water; classical music, especially piano works; poetry; and her Scots-Irish heritage. Mary was a skilled pianist, having begun her musical life singing alto with her family and playing trombone in marching band at Steubenville “Big Red” H. S.
