Evidence technicians and detectives from the Major Case Assistance Team, a task force that assists suburban police departments with major crimes and suspicious deaths testified Thursday in the murder trial of Mount Prospect resident Paul Zalewski, charged with the fatal 2018 shooting of Vladimir Esquivel, whose body was found in his burned-out Jeep Wrangler in a Mount Prospect parking lot.
The police officer who photographed the burned-out Jeep and surrounding Mount Prospect parking lot where Vladimir Esquivel was found fatally shot four years ago testified Wednesday as the trial of Paul Zalewski, charged with Esquivel s 2018 murder, concluded its second day.
