At the outset of the session, the Cabinet was briefed on the discussions that took place between the Crown Prince and Prime Minister with Georgia Prime Minister during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, where they reviewed the close friendly relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in various fields.
RIYADH: The Saudi Cabinet approved a bylaw for energy supplies, along with a number of other key decisions, during its weekly meeting on Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
RIYADH: Turkey is seeking more cooperation with Saudi Arabia and other countries as it plans to be an energy hub to Europe, its finance minister said. “Turkey from its geographical position is an energy corridor from Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Any kind of natural gas or oil that is going to be transported or shipped, will cost less and will be more safely shipped,”
The Cabinet also touched upon the outcomes of the 33rd OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial meeting, noting the pivotal role played by OPEC+ group in achieving balance and stability in the global oil markets, thus supporting the global economy.
The Cabinet approved the state to incur the costs of e-services — related to the e-visas service platform at the Ministry of Interior — for issuing an entry visa to Saudi Arabia for holders of fan tickets (Hayya card) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
