Slovenia orders one million rapid tests - Slovenia Times

Slovenia Times 3. April, 2021 Ljubljana – The Health Ministry has picked Sanolabor as the supplier of a million rapid antigen test for mass testing for coronavirus. The medical supplier submitted the lowest bid among 22 bidders. Sanolabor offered EUR 1.37 per test, with the total cost for the state amounting to EUR 1.137 million, show data published on the Public Procurement Portal. Some 50,000 tests are to be supplied a week. The entire order will have to be delivered by 1 December. The ministry published the tender on 18 February with 22 bidders responding, of which 12 also provided a sample of a rapid test as the ministry demanded. Previously, the rapid test had been supplied by the Majbert Pharm group at EUR 1.982 a piece.

Majbert Pharm to supply rapid tests to UKC Ljubljana

Slovenia Times 20. February, 2021 Ljubljana – The Ljubljana University Medical Centre (UKC) has signed a deal with Majbert Pharm to supply rapid antigen tests at virtually the same cost apiece as the company supplied to the Health Ministry for mass coronavirus testing under a contract signed in December. Asked about information published on the public procurement portal, UKC Ljubljana told the STA Majbert Pharm had agreed to supply 22,800 tests from March to May at 1.79 euro apiece or 1.96 euro including VAT, which values the contract at EUR 44,594 inclusive of VAT. In November last year, UKC Ljubljana entered into a year-long tentative agreement to purchase antigen tests for emergency triage with 27 bidders who had submitted acceptable bids. The total value of the public procurement is valued at EUR 2.34 million.
