Hannah Wiegele is the Athlete of the Weekend at the women s Continental Cup in Brotterode. The Austrian could confirm her very good performance from Saturday on Sunday and took another clear win this afternoon.
With her jumps of 110.5 m and 106 m and 252.3 points, the 19-year-old was once again unbeatable on the Inselberg-hill and claimed her second win in a row. It was a great weekend for Wiegele, whose best result in the COC before the days of Brotterode was the 15th place in Rena about a year ago.
Ksenia Kablukova of Russia was fifth after the first round with 105 m, she could move up to second overall with 106 m in the final and 235.9 points. Jerneja Repinc Zupancic of Slovenia took the third place on the podium today with 108.5 m and 104 m and 230.7 points.
