Inspired by the story of Colonel Tom Moore, Maisie decided to make the ribbons to show her support with the help of her mum Charlotte and sisters Heidi and Felicity. She was also inspired by her grandmother Heather, who works as a nurse at Malvern Community Hospital and has beaten coronavirus.
