The public will be able to learn about plans for the 2021 UFO Festival and offer ideas for it at a come-and-go event Friday.
The UFO Festival stakeholder meeting will be from noon to 2 p.m. in the gym of the Roswell Recreation and Aquatic Center, Public Affairs Director Juanita Jennings said.
Representatives from In Depth Events, a McKinney, Texas company the city hired to organize the festival, will be at the meeting. Jennings and Stephanie Mervine, sports tourism director and interim recreation director, will also be there.
“It’s an opportunity to meet our event organizers and a chance for them to hear from some of the stakeholders,” Jennings said.
