Beloved Mainport Fish & Chips owner mourned following fatal heart attack

The beloved owner of Mainport Fish & Chips in Bridgeport is being mourned following his sudden fatal heart attack.
Mourners gathered outside of Mainport Fish & Chips on North Avenue to remember Mohammad Asiffor his decades of service to the community.
Virtually everybody who s spent time at Mainport Fish & Chipson North Avenue had a heartwarming story to tell about Asif.
Asif was a proud father of six who came to the
U.S. from Afghanistan 35 years ago in search of the American dream.
The 51-year-old passed away Monday morning at his home in Seymour from a heart attack, his family says.
