A public meeting about the issue was planned for Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Deer Isle town office. Area residents were invited to give comments about the causeway, as are those holding office.

What happens to Deer Isle-Stonington residents who may be traveling daily off-island for dialysis treatments? Those were a few of the questions asked and discussed during a tabletop planning exercise hosted at the Deer Isle town office.
