NORRISTOWNÂ â With days to go until the 2021 primary election, Montgomery County officials want the public to know that they are ready for another election.
Montgomery County Chief Operating Officer Lee Soltysiak said officials are applying lessons learned from the 2020 primary and general elections, both of which occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.
âGood preparation, some experience under our belt and just generally lower anxiety due to the pandemic, I think is contributing to a good feeling heading into Tuesday,â he said.

Several races will appear on Tuesdayâs ballot including local school boards, municipal offices and judgeships.
There are 594,903 people registered to vote in the May 18 primary, according to a Montgomery County spokesperson. The voter registration deadline elapsed on May 3.
