The fall 2020 anime adaptation of
Higurashi – When They Cry wrapped up its two-cour run last month with the 24th episode of the series, which is when we learned another season is coming this summer under the
SOTSU banner. With the Japanese side recently updated to confirm a July 1st, 2021 debut for this new season, the show got underway without a hitch on Funimation’s site last week.
The show is also getting additional distribution outside of anime-specific services as the folks at Hulu have added the show as a simulcast as well, which you can find here and add into your rotation if you prefer their interface over Funimation’s.
