The Palestinian government signed an agreement with the Palestine Doctors Association putting an end to weeks of protests and strikes.
Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh announced the signing of the deal at the start of his cabinet s weekly meeting, which was held in Ramallah. No details were provided as to what the agreement entailed.

An Israeli official said on Tuesday that the Palestinian Authority will receive a first shipment of 5,000 units of the Russian Covid-19 vaccine in the West Bank.
The Israeli “Kan” channel reported that Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs, Hussein al-Sheikh will return today from Russia, accompanied by a first batch of the Russian “Sputnik V” Corona vaccine, and he will cross from Jericho after he obtained the approval of the Israeli authorities to introduce the vaccine to the West Bank.
The Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Kaileh, had announced earlier that Palestine would prepare the Russian vaccine for emergency use, adding that Palestine would be the first country to bring the Russian vaccine to the Middle East.
