Maharashtra RERA: MahaRERA, the real estate watchdog, has proposed the norms to put an end to the uncertainty of guaranteed facilities and amenities in housing projects, according to a statement.
Parking Regulations: Following the registration of apartments, realty developers are mandated to incorporate these specifics into the allotment letter and agreement for sale, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulations.
MahaRERA expressed grave concerns over 212 housing projects launched between January and April 2023 across Maharashtra for failing to provide construction updates, breaching regulations. The regulator published a list cautioning buyers. Pune led with 47 such projects, followed by Nashik and Palghar. MMR and Konkan regions topped the list. Despite notices and penalties, many developers haven t complied.
MahaRERA: This strategic measure is expected to alleviate the financial burden on homebuyers who have faced delays or discrepancies in their property transactions, the authority said.
