Delhi govt responsible for health in national capital, Home Ministry clears its position

(Photo: PTI) Health and other responsibilities related to it in the national capital lies with the Kejriwal-led Government as per the government of National Capital Territory (GNCTD) Amendment Act, 2021, said the Ministry of Home Affairs in a statement. The Government of National Capital Territory (GNCTD) Amendment Act, 2021 came into force after being passed by the Lok Sabha on March 22, 2021, by the Rajya Sabha on March 24, 2021, and after the assent of the President of India on March 28, 2021. The Amendment Act has the effect of amending Sections 21, 24, 33 and 44 of the Act.
