Acting on a tip-off, the Ahmedabad crime branch and DRI initiated the operation at Apex Medicam company in Aurangabad, where they found liquid MD drugs (Mephedrone, also known as methylmethcathinone or ecstasy).
This comes two days after the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) of Ahmedabad arrested two men, and seized banned drugs, including cocaine, mephedrone, and ketamine worth Rs 250 crore after searches at multiple locations of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra's Aurangabad.
Illicit market value of these narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances has been reported to be more than ₹250 crores which have been seized under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985, the DRI said. | Latest News India
