Magpies Sporting Club poured its first espresso martini on tap Tuesday, much to the delight of coffee lovers. The club s marketing manager Amber Ries said the venue was excited to be one of the first in Mackay to offer cocktails on tap. Ms Ries said the new take on the classic drink had been met with pure excitement. Mackay drinkers are always receptive to try a new trend, especially when it combines an icy cold cocktail with coffee, and the convenience, consistency and speed of being on tap, she said.
