NASSAU| A MAN who dislocated his neighbour’s shoulder after she cheated in a game of dominoes was yesterday ordered to compensate her for her injuries.
Police said Carlos Collie assaulted his neighbour shortly after 10.30pm on February 14.
He admitted the offence during his hearing before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.
The court was told that during the argument the accused punched his neighbour in the face before throwing her to the ground.
The prosecution said the woman required medical attention for the injuries she received. Collie was arrested a short time later.
When he was questioned by officers while in police custody, he admitted punching his neighbour, but said he only did so after she poked him.

A 29-year-old man who was accused of assaulting his former girlfriend was ordered to pay her $350 as compensation.
Police said Jason Cooper assaulted the woman at the Golden Gates Plaza on December 17.
He admitted to the offence during a hearing before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.
The prosecution said that day, the complainant told police that Cooper beat her about the body during an argument. Officers investigating her complaint arrested the accused a short time later. In an interview with police at the Carmichael Road police station the next day, Cooper denied the allegations.
When given an opportunity to speak during the hearing, he told the magistrate that on the day in question that his ex-girlfriend started to punch him. He claimed he “restrained” her by holding her wrists and pushing her against her car. He also insisted that he did not “pound her against her body” nor did he throw “any punches” at her at the time of the incident.

An ABACO man who slapped his coworker during an argument on the job was yesterday ordered to keep the peace for one year.
Ashton Forbes, 31, was arrested after he assaulted his coworker on December 22.
He admitted to the offence during a hearing before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.
The court heard the incident took place around 4.30pm at Margarita Villas where Rolle and the complainant are employed. The prosecution said at the time, both men got into an argument and Rolle slapped the complainant in his face during the verbal altercation. Rolle’s actions prompted his coworker to file an official complaint with police. Officers investigating the matter arrested the defendant later that afternoon. In an interview with police, he admitted assaulting the man on the day in question.
