Two men were fined for poaching sea eggs during the closed season.
Kevin Andrew Luke, a 36-year-old water sports operator, of College Savannah No. 2, St John, and unemployed Richard Anderson Marshall, 43, of Marley Vale, St Philip, both pleaded guilty to having a quantity of sea egg roe during the closed season, without obtaining written permission from the Chief Fisheries Officer.
Both men also admitted to breaching COVID-19 Directive No. 4, which is in place from February 18-28, 2021, by visiting Bath Beach, St John, other than for the purpose of swimming or exercising.
