Some 50+ business, community and local organizations recently gathered for the YWCA Giving Tuesday Breakfast at Independence Grove - Libertyville, celebrating 100 years of impact across Lake County.
In June 2019, the Lake County community lost 20-year-old Jack Adams, a 2017 graduate of Lake Forest High School, All-State lacrosse player and beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, teammate, coach and friend.
The Lake County Community Foundation recently announced more than $500,000 in grants, combined with another $500,000 in grants from an LCCF donor-advised fund holder, was awarded to 33 local nonprofits serving the needs of their Lake County neighbors.
