Survivors of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting boarded a bus in the parking lot of Newtown High School at 5 a.m. Saturday for the drive down to Washington, D.C., to join in the March for Our Lives, a rally pushing for Congress to institute stronger gun control laws.
Members of the Junior Newtown Action Alliance many survivors of the Sandy Hook mass shooting have spent most of their lives campaigning against guns. On Saturday, they joined thousands at the March for Our Lives rally in Washington D.C. with the hope of changing laws to prevent another tragedy.
