Not a series of compilation films but a single compilation film called  Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Journey. We learned previously that the film is scheduled to open on January 15th, 2021 with its limited theatrical approach with the home video release happening on the same day. A week before that, it was pulled and delayed indefinitely. Now, with the drop of a new promo, the film has been rescheduled for a June 11th, 2021 debut theatrically while having the home video release available same-day for people that attend.
