MADRID The Madrid Dam Music Series will host the band Steelin Country on Wednesday, July 7 from 6-8 p.m., opening night of the 5th year of live music in Madrid Community Park
There will be a memorial bench dedication in honor of Evelyn M. Cameron, 88, who passed in August 2019. A fiddle tribute of St. Anne s Reel will be performed by Don LaBarge.
The Cameron family invites the public enjoy this moment and honor Evelyn.
MDMS invites everyone to bring their own chair and pick a space on the park lawn. The public is also invited to bring their own refreshments and soft drinks.

Norwood: Village Green Concert Series, Sundays and Thursdays at 7pm throughout the summer
Waddington: Fridays at the Island View Park Pavilion, 6:30pm, free and open to the public

SLC Arts is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2021 Decentralization Regrants. SLC Arts offers three grant opportunities for artists, arts organizations, municipalities, and 501(c)3 non-profit organizations throughout St. Lawrence, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties. Each year, through the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program, SLC Arts distributes over $60,000 in state funds throughout the North Country, for the purpose of arts programming. Projects of all artistic disciplines funded through this program include, but are not limited to: concerts, theatrical performances, art classes, public art exhibitions, and even the creation of new, community-based work.
