C Alagappan, the prime accused in the cheating case registered by the Tamil Nadu police following a complaint by actress Gautami Tadimalla, has approached the Madras High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
The HR&CE department of the Tamil Nadu government made the submission in a counter affidavit filed before Madras High Court in a case involving concerns of irregularities in the management of temple funds.
