The Madras High Court Monday recommended a temple activist to stay away from making any posts or comments on social media for at least two weeks for using “unsavoury words" against an industrialist.
Justice G Jayachandran was hearing a contempt petition filed by RSS after the TN government denied it permission to conduct the route march despite the Court’s order.
The Court noted that while the NIA charged the appellants of being involved in collecting funds for committing terrorist acts, there was nothing on record to link them directly to any terrorist activities.
Justice G Jayachandran rejected Senthil Balaji’s plea wherein he had sought bail solely on medical grounds and claimed there was no chance of him tampering with documentary evidence if released on bail.
