carolina, where all eyes are on the primary race for freshman congressman, madison cawthorn. cawthorn has come under attack from his own party, in the wake of multiple scandals. polls have just closed across the state of pennsylvania. we are watching some key races there where, frankly, the future of american democracy is on the ballot. pennsylvania republicans will decide if they will run to insurrectionists for senator governor this fall. in the senate primary, far-right candidate, kathy barnett, has seen a late surge in the polls, putting them, essentially, neck and neck. celebrity doctor, mehmet oz, it is david mccormack. new images emerged in barnett, and seen in the gray hat, and coach, marching to the capital building. this is after the ellipse rally, coming to the building. and this photo, she is seen walking next to members of the far-right gang, the proud boys. these two men, later, arrested, and indicted, on federal charges for, allegedly, breaking into the buildin

texas, and washington. the governor s meeting comes as budget battles are raging in a number of states. the fight between pro union supporters in wisconsin and governor scott walker has spurred protests in almost every other state. several high profile republican governors who have gone up against labor unions took the airways today including walker. peter doocy is following the latest. hi, peter. scott walker says he doesn t want to lay off any state workers and if those wisconsin state senators who have gone awol feel the same way, then they need to get back to work immediately. speaking from the governor s mansion in madison today, governor walker stood his ground and said he will not give up until the union workers in his state agree to pay some of their benefits and give up their collective bargaining rights. because, if that doesn t happen, he says, the badger state is in trouble this is our moment in wisconsin history. year after year after year. not just the last governor but
all. it s about balancing the budget. there are a lot of distortions, and ms. statements. the more people come in from washington, the greater the lies and deceptions. a lot of people paying attention to this. demonstrations have been held in nine other states where similar bills are being considered now. kate baldwin is joining us from madison. kate, a lot of people focusing on wisconsin because they want to know what does this vote really mean. reporter: and that s a very good question. yes, they absolutely are. this is a vote in the state assembly, and they re voting on amendments right now, and it s a fluid process. they have had marathon debate for days on the budget repair bill from the governor. the best guidance we got is they could get a vote, get to a final vote as early as this afternoon but think are moving twoerd a vote. this bill needs to be voted on
