MADISON â Borough residents turned out in force to support their townâs own front-line heroes.
Local non-profits Student Wish List Project (SWLP) and Front Line Appreciation Group (FLAG) teamed up for an online in-kind donation drive, which delivered $2,000 of essential personal protective equipment (PPE) straight to the doors of Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps (MVAC).
âWith our supplies dwindling due to significantly increased pandemic-related PPE needs, this donation drive could not have come at a better time,â said JJ Pullaro, vice president of MVAC. âThe online format made it easy and safe for people to donate and, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the people of Madison, MVAC is restocked for the winter and ready to serve the local community.â
