UW-Madison has approved three new campus Information Technology (IT) Policies. These policies identify requirements and processes regarding the use of web conferencing technologies, computer management and security, and reporting of IT Staff. Your departmental IT Staff and CALS IT is available to assist with answering questions and implementing these policies.
If you have questions about the IT Policy Drafting process, please contact the CALS CIO/IT Director at smwahe@wisc.edu or the IT-Policy team at itpolicy@cio.wisc.edu. All campus policies are available in the UW-Madison Policy Library.

If you need to find one of UWâMadisonâs nearly 900 university-wide policies, your task just got a lot easier.
After a two-year effort that engaged stakeholders across campus, the new UWâMadison Policy Library is live at
policy.wisc.edu. The online, searchable policy library serves as the single, up-to-date resource for all university-wide polices at UWâMadison. The library features extensive search functionality that allows users to search by topic or keywords.
