JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One graduating high school senior in Jamestown, N.D., has been selected as the Unison Bank Spirit Scholarship recipient.
Madison Motschenbacher was chosen from this year’s applicants and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Eligible applicants included Jamestown, N.D. and surrounding area high school graduating seniors who are, or whose parent(s) or guardian(s) are customers of Unison Bank and planning to attend a college, university, vocational or technical post-secondary school. Each applicant’s scholarship, letter of recommendation and transcript were graded by the Unison Bank Scholarship Committee.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – P.E.O. Chapter AB of Jamestown announced today that high school senior Madison Motschenbacher of Jamestown is the 2021 recipient of the Charlotte H. Hansen P.E.O. Scholarship, earning $3,000 toward her enrollment at the University of Jamestown.
Motschenbacher plans to study communications and foreign language and will be involved in the university’s Character in Leadership program.
Established in 2019, the scholarship honors Hansen, a P.E.O. member and resident of Jamestown who was deeply involved in professional, educational and philanthropic activities.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing education for women. Since its founding in 1869, the organization has given more than $366 million in scholarships, grants, awards and low-interest loans to help women achieve their scholastic goals.
