Officials identify body found in river after boat accident

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) A body found in the Ohio River in Kentucky a week after a boat collided with a barge has been identified, authorities said.
The death of Madison Lane Yates, 22, of the Coxs Creek community in Nelson County, was consistent with drowning, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said on Monday in a statement.
Her body was found Saturday about 30 yards from shore, news outlets reported.
Seven people were on the pleasure craft when the accident occurred April 17 near a boat dock in Louisville.
Hayden Spencer, 20, of Louisville, was killed and four others were injured. A seventh person remains missing.
