We just completed our Ramsey County Communication Arts and Clothing Revue on Sunday, May 2. We were thrilled to have 20 participants in the Clothing Revue and 17 presentations in our Communication Arts contest.
All participants in the Clothing Revue were in the “Buy and Show” category. The main objective of the Buy and Show is to select a ready-to-wear garment or garments that can be used effectively in a wardrobe. The clothing items have either been purchased at a retail store, a secondhand store, garage sale, or picked right out of their closet.

2021 N.D. 4-H Air Rifle Championships Winners Announced

DEVILS LAKE - Ramsey County teams took first place in all three divisions of the 2021 4-H State Air Rifle Championships.
Devils Lake was the host site for the event, but shooters were allowed to participate at their home range under instructor supervision and mail their shot targets to the host site.
Youth ages 8 to 18 competed in three age divisions. Youth ages 8 to 10 were beginners, ages 11 to 13 were in the junior division and ages 14 to 18 were in the senior division. The competition was limited to sporter class air rifles. The match had 47 participants.

CMS Helps Community

In the Devils Lake area there are multiple things that students can do to help out. The school has gone to the Hope Center, and students have rung bells for the Salvation Army. Students at CMS have also raked, and our school did the Stuff a Truck. As for the money that the school raises through fundraisers, it is donated to many businesses. Some of the businesses that have been given donations in the past include the Search and Rescue, the Hope Center and the TLC Animal Shelter. If anyone has any suggestions on ways that CMS students can help our communit
