[ chanting ] welcome back to the ed show. that was protesters in the state capitol in madison, wisconsin today. protesters like that can spread all over america if other heartless republican governors get their way. that s the game plan. later this week the ohio senate will start to debate a bill that will eliminate collective bargaining for all state employees. governor john kasich fully supports the bill and is working on putting it in his budget. kasich wants to eliminate binding arbitration and have the ability to fire any public worker who goes on strike. this is how he put it last year. if they want to strike they should be fired and under this,
when you look at the big crowds wow. you have to remember, madison is a government town. one of the biggest universities in the country. these people came from all over the state. you know as well as i do. that s true. the reason they had 8,000 or 10,000 people there today, however, is because we are the center of government in the state of wisconsin. okay. we have one of the biggest universities in the country in madison. this is just another day at the office in the madison capitol. okay. i doubt that very much. and this is a plu blueprint, senator, every republican governor has on the table in their state to attack the budget, go after the middle classers and say you can t raise the taxes. we are not going after the middle classers. we are doing all we can to protect the middle class jobs. sure. that s why you got the national guard on notice. this is standard operating procedure. you always order the national guard on this. everybody s willing to take an 8% cut.
