The Truman State softball team had a pair of road doubleheaders over the weekend against two of the conference’s top teams, and the Bulldogs were swept in both. They first lost a pair to first-place Indianapolis on Saturday and then were defeated twice more by fourth-place McKendree on Sunday. Truman is now 1-9 in conference play and 11-25 overall.
The Truman State softball team had a reprieve from conference play with a doubleheader against Lincoln at home on Tuesday. Lincoln has been struggling this season, and the Bulldogs were able to take care of business. They shutout Lincoln in both games, winning the first game 8-0 and the second 2-0.
