Petrol, diesel prices touch new all-time high on Wednesday, petrol crosses Rs 100/litre for first time in Bhopal

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the third straight day this week, touching a fresh record of all-time highs across the metros on Wednesday. After the country s largest fuel retailer Indian Oil Corporation hiked the prices for the third straight day, petrol price saw an increase by 25 paise per litre and diesel price saw a hike by 25 paise per litre.

Meanwhile, today s petrol price in Guwahati stands at Rs 88.41 (12th May 2021) and that of diesel at Rs 82.94 (12th May 2021)

New Petrol & Diesel Prices Amid Lockdown & Curfew: Fuel prices continued their upward rally for the third successive day across the country as state-controlled oil marketing companies (OMCs) hiked prices of transportation fuels by 20-30 paise per litre across major cities of the country.
On Wednesday, petrol and diesel prices were increased by 25 paise and 25 paise per litre in the national capital. This is the seventh hike in fuel prices this month.
