The much-anticipated Bollywood film Pathaan is experiencing a significant increase in the number of theaters screening the movie, as it enters its second week. The movie now set to run in 43 theaters starting Friday.
However, there are no audiences in the cinema hall, that is situated at the heart of the Farmgate area. It has been observed that among the DC section’s 540 seats, only 15 viewers came to see the 12 pm screening of “Pathaan”. Apart from that, among 570 seats of general section, only 20 to 25 people came in to watch the film today.
The excitement among moviegoers was palpable, with long queues of fans waiting outside multiplexes, eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The movie received an overwhelming response from fans, with most of the shows at Star Cineplex being houseful on the first day.
Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's directorial debut "Hawa" is breaking records all across the country. The power of “Hawa” was also felt in some of Dhaka’s most iconic theatres such as Madhumita Cinema Hall where, for the first time ever, the three opening shows of the movie were houseful.
