This is the second Delhi metro station to have triple interchange facility

In good news for the metro travellers in Delhi, the Azadpur metro station is going to become the second station in the national capital with triple interchange facility for the metro lines. The Azadpur station will allow the passengers to be connected to three corridors of the mass rapid transit system in the city: Yellow line, Pink line, and the upcoming Phase IV RK Ashram-Janakpuri West corridor. The Kashmere Gate metro station is the only other station in Delhi which has a triple interchange facility.

New Delhi, Feb 13 : The Azadpur station on Delhi Metro s Yellow Line network would become the second triple interchange facility of the mass rapid transit system after the Kashmere Gate Metro station.
The Azadpur station will connect three metro corridors Yellow, Pink and RK Ashram-Janakpuri West corridor of Phase IV.
At present, the Yellow line station of Azadpur is elevated and the its Pink line station is underground. The new Metro link under phase IV will have paid to paid area connectivity with both Yellow and Pink line stations of Azadpur.
