Byron Collins is charged in the death of 50-year-old Nataliya Shal. Investigators connected Collins to the case through DNA and a cigarette butt at the scene.
Kirk Jones missing from San Antonio
Kirk Jones, 35, was reported missing Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was to show up at his mother’s house for a family game night but he never made it.
“He is a gamer,” his mother, Kellie Stancliff told KSAT. “He loved gaming and is a part of a large gaming community. He is a lot of fun. Most weekends, he would come over and we would play board games, and he would stay for dinner and we would plan if he was coming by the next weekend or not to play more games.”
A surveillance video shows him leaving on his motorcycle on Thursday, June 3 around 9:30 a.m. from the Madera Apartments on Olmos Creek Drive. Stancliff said she last talked with her son on June 2.
