UTSA’s Student Government Association (SGA) gathered on Thursday, Nov. 16, for their second to last general assembly of the semester. Topics that were discussed included antisemitism occurring on other college campuses and how to prevent this from happening at UTSA, Senate Bill 17 and how it affects UTSA and the presentation of SGA’s strategic plan.

A new service piloted at Penn Medicine allowed a proportion of patients to avoid hospitalization by providing them with greater support after visiting the emergency department. The vast majority of the patients enrolled in the service - nearly 9 out of 10 - did not need to return to the hospital for care in the month that followed their initial visit.
