March 12, 2021 11:05 Ahead of the season launch next week, the AFL is building a sense of community around the game, highlighting footy fanatics’ love of the game. Set to INXS’ six-time platinum track ‘Kick’ cut with classic AFL commentary, the campaign features star players and backyard legends living the dream moment of kicking the winning goal after the siren.   Seeking to showcase the diversity of footy families across the country, fan footage was gathered of Australians playing the game on backyards, local football ovals and beaches. ADVERTISEMENT The campaign, from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and MOFA, introduces the line ‘This is us’, a diversion from the ‘Believe’ and ‘Don’t Believe in Never’ platforms used in recent years.
