EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Despite getting career-high scoring efforts from sophomore forward Hannah Haithcock (Washington Courthouse, Ohio) and senior center Audrey Turner (Fishers, Indiana), University of Southern Indiana Womenâs Basketball could not hang onto a seven-point third-quarter lead as visiting Truman State University handed the No. 11 Screaming Eagles a 73-67 Great Lakes Valley Conference setback Saturday afternoon at Screaming Eagles Arena.
Haithcock had a career-high 22 points and team-high eight rebounds, while Turner finished with a career-high 15 points. However, a season-high 27 fouls proved to be too much for the Eagles to overcome as Haithcock was among three starters to foul out in the fourth quarter.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - University of Southern Indiana Women’s Basketball used a strong fourth-quarter effort to outlast the University of Indianapolis, 56-51, in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest Tuesday evening at Screaming Eagles Arena.
The Screaming Eagles (9-1, 9-1 GLVC), who jumped three spots to No. 11 in the latest D2SIDA Top 25 Media Poll earlier in the day, used a 9-1 run to open the fourth quarter and break a 38-38 stalemate. Senior guard Emma DeHart (Indianapolis, Indiana) had five points in the run, including a three-pointer with just under eight minutes to play that broke a near four-minute long scoreless drought for the Eagles.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WFIE) - University of Southern Indiana Womenâs Basketball scored 47 second-half points to defeat host University of Illinois Springfield, 77-71, in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Saturday afternoon.
The No. 14 Screaming Eagles (8-1, 8-1 GLVC) got scoring contributions from all 10 players that saw the court Saturday, including a season-high 18 from sophomore forward Hannah Haithcock (Washington Courthouse, Ohio) and an NCAA career-high 15 from senior guard Ashley Hunter (Flossmoor, Illinois), as they outscored the Prairie Stars 18-12 throughout the final five minutes to earn the win.
