Washington University's Spring WILD (Walk In, Lay Down) attendance has been capped at 3,000 for undergraduates, following an announcement that it will be held in the Athletic Center’s Fieldhouse.
Rapper Joey Bada$$ will be the headlining act at Spring WILD, which will take place on Mudd Field on Friday, April 26, per Washington University’s Social Programming Board (SPB), April 22.
It may have taken 90 tense minutes and a little bit of help from division rivals, but after a stalemate in the regular season finale, the No. 2 Washington University women’s soccer team clinched the 2023 University Athletic Association (UAA) women’s soccer conference title with a 0-0 draw against conference rival University of Chicago. The Bears have now won eight of the last nine UAA titles.
This past Sunday, the Washington University men's soccer team (7-7-1) battled the Rochester University Yellowjackets (8-2-5) in their penultimate game of the University Athletic Association (UAA) season. Though the Bears dominated ball possession throughout the game, they were unable to win the match due to the Yellowjackets’ strong defense. The game ended 1-0 with the Yellowjackets on top.
As of this semester, a new policy from the Office of Campus Life now requires all student group events to be registered and approved at least two weeks before the event is scheduled, causing logistical concerns for student groups on campus.
