The village panchayat in Jharkhand s Godda district has imposed a hefty fine of Rs 56,000 on a four-year-old child on allegations that the boy had set a paddy threshing floor on fire.
Karan Shah, the four-year-accused said he is not guilty. A day ahead of chhath festival on November 19, 2020, The incident of fire had occurred in Chhindab village under the Muffasil Police Station limits. The family could not understand why the innocent was made an accused in the matter.
