Two local schools in Mobile are rallying around one special individual: a nine-year-old girl battling cancer.
Madalyn Franklin of Mobile is not only receiving love and support from her friends and family, but also Kate Shepard Elementary and Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind. This Friday, both schools are participating in an “Out of Uniform” day to raise money for Franklin and her family.
According to Kate Shepard Elementary’s Facebook page, any $1 or more donation will go to Franklin’s family that day. In addition to those donations, there’s also a GoFundMe page that students attending remotely, as well as the general public, can donate.
