Forensic report filed in case of alleged Mount Clemens kidnapper

MOUNT CLEMENS A man accused of kidnapping has been deemed mentally ill.
Luzjaie Captain appeared in a May 13 virtual court appearance from the Center for Forensic Psychiatry in Saline.
The forensics report was filed by a clinical director and by a psychology director and clinical psychologist.
It concluded that, after being thoroughly examined, Captain is mentally ill and that he demonstrates a likelihood of injury to others and the inability to understand the need for treatment.
Reading from the report, Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Stager said that Captain meets the criteria for being considered a person requiring treatment and hospitalization.
