Tents to be installed for landslide victims

FOLLOWING the end of the 15-day use of school facilities as emergency evacuation centers, the Provincial Local Government Unit of Davao de Oro (PLGU-Davao de Oro) has now cleared the entire area of the Diocese of Tagum property for the building of 70 tents from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).

Bodies in Masara landslide undergo DNA testing for identification

THE Provincial Local Government Unit of Davao de Oro (PLGU-Davao de Oro) has confirmed that the remaining 14 unidentified and unclaimed bodies in the Masara landslide tragedy are currently undergoing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) testing at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Central Office.

50 animals rescued in Masara landslide

AROUND 50 animals were rescued by the Davao de Oro Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) as part of their Animal Rescue Welfare Program following the tragic Masara landslide on the night of February 6, 2024.
