WINSTED - Winsted Police Department has hired another officer.Macklin Roman, 24, of Stratford, was sworn in by the town clerk Wednesday morning at Town Hall. He must now attend the Connecticut Police Academy for six months of training, starting today, followed by 10 weeks of field training with the
