Four people taken to hospital after Bruce Highway crash

Premium Content Subscriber only Update 2.30pm: Four people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway. It is understood both cars had been in the overtaking lane when the crash occurred at Balberra about 1.35pm Sunday. At this stage both lanes of traffic remain open however one or both may need to close when the vehicles are recovered. Police and paramedics were called to the scene. Four people have been taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition. Investigations continue.   Police and paramedics responded to a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Balberra.
