He is further charged with possessing child abuse material on September 6, 2020 and in October 2018 and breaching bail on September 5, 2020.
The man is also facing two counts of failing to comply with reporting under the Child Protection (Offender Reporting and Offender Prohibition) Act.
He is yet to enter any pleas to the charges and is therefore given the benefit of innocence until proven or he chooses to plead guilty.
The court heard applications for three accommodations had been made for private rentals.
Defence solicitor Antoinette Morton, of Fisher Dore Lawyers, said she was currently awaiting information from those applications.
“Coupled with that there have also been further applications made with community organisations,” Ms Morton said, adding they were doing their best to find accommodation for her client as soon as possible.

Subscriber only When police interrupted a man hanging out with a teenage girl at a park, they uncovered a repugnant case of exploitation. It was October 12, 2019 and the man was on bail for prior offending. Mackay District Court heard his phone had four posed images of an intellectually-disabled 15-year-old girl including in her underwear, nude and another exposing her genitalia. Police also found four days of sexualised messages between the girl and a 24-year-old Mackay man. He pleaded guilty to using an electronic communication with an intent to procure a person under 16 in a sexual act and knowingly possessing child exploitation material.

Subscriber only A Calen police officer has been cleared of accusations he used a restricted computer without consent. Senior Constable James Ian Hoggs was stood down from active duty while an investigation was conducted over allegations of unprofessional conduct and unauthorised access of confidential information. The alleged offence occurred at the Calen police station on June 6 last year. He was subsequently charged under section 408E of the Queensland Criminal code, which relates to computer hacking and misuse.

The 30-year-old father-of-two, who cannot be named for risk of identifying his victim, stood in the dock as he faced Mackay Magistrates Court on Thursday. Judge Brad Farr said the offence was so grave it would automatically attract jail time. The court heard the man was drinking on the evening of March 21 when he became jealous of his female co-worker directing her attention towards another man. When [she] went back to her room, you walked back with her, despite the conversations that she didn t need you to do so, Judge Farr told him.
