The Art on Show Awards is a high-profile art competition and exhibition aiming to highlight the diverse local talent in the Mackay region.

Three Well Known Australians wants you to discuss who he has depicted in the piece that has toured the country since 1983. The exhibition is on display at the Jubilee Centre until February 19, and Shaw wants Mackay to keep the conversation going by writing in the yearbook. The clues are in the painting, he said. Just place your opinion in the yearbook with all the other entries. Some names will endure the test of time , while others, a brief period of being well-known .
