Following yesterday’s teaser, here is the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, featuring a new platform that accommodates three rows of seats, independent front and rear suspension, and all new levels of technology and comfort.
As yesterday’s preview hinted, the new model sports a fresh look not too dissimilar to the Grand Wagoneer concept. A traditional seven-slot grille remains at the front, however, it’s a much wider interpretation, matching new-look LED headlights. The traditional slab-like body continues to provide a dominant stance, while the rear end showcases wider and thinner taillights to match the headlights.
One of the main things you might notice about the design is the sheer size. That’s because the new model is being offered in six- or seven-seat configurations for the first time. Yep, so it can finally compete properly with the popular top guns like the Toyota Prado and Kluger and co.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV on Monday contributed nearly $700,000 for investments into three east-side Detroit neighborhoods as a part of its community benefits commitments.
The funds will contribute to environmental education and increased stormwater management at Chandler Park and support the city s Impact Neighborhood Fund that will support public projects in the Chandler Park, East Canfield and Riverbend neighborhoods. The city will work with residents to determine what those projects should be. So often the east side has been forgotten, but not today, City Councilman Andre Spivey said during a news conference. We want this to be a destination. We want this to be a place where people can grow and live and work.
FCA CEO Mike Manley to lead Americas operations for newly formed Stellantis
Mike Manley, CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, will head up Americas operations when the automaker s merger with French automaker Groupe PSA is complete, according to a letter from FCA chairman John Elkann to employees Friday.
In announcing the news, Elkann cited Manley s leadership following the 2018 death of Sergio Marchionne, the chief executive who merged Fiat SpA and the former Chrysler Group, as well as Manley s leadership throughout the coronavirus crisis and his prior experience heading up FCA s most lucrative brands. Perhaps it should be no surprise that having led the profound transformation and exceptional development of the Jeep and Ram brands before becoming our CEO, Mike has taken the rough terrain of the past couple of years in his stride, Elkann wrote. We have been fortunate indeed to have him as our CEO.
