She recently landed on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list. ~~~ Tom Isern shares a Plains Folk essay titled “Wheat at Any Price.” ~~~ The Olafson Ethics Symposium at UND provides a platform for students and the business community to explore the importance of both personal and professional ethics. It was held virtually this year, examining ethics and responsibility through the lens of COVID-19 and social turbulence. One of the presenters was Sean Valentine, the Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor of Management at UND. We share an excerpt from his presentation.

People are selected for the list by Forbes reporters, editors and expert judges. Criteria include funding, revenue, social impact, inventiveness and potential.
Bravo to Ryan Fisher, a field tech for Dakota Central, who alerted a couple to a fire in their Jamestown home on Dec. 4 and helped get a woman and two cats out of the residence. No injuries were reported and the fire was small, according to the Jamestown Fire Department.
